Terms of Use
PDF Eye Swiper · Last updated August 20, 2026
By downloading, installing, or using PDF Eye Swiper ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. These terms apply alongside Apple's standard End User License Agreement, which governs your use of any app distributed through the App Store.
What the App Does
PDF Eye Swiper lets you open and read PDF documents on your iPhone or iPad. Opening PDFs and turning pages by hand — swiping or tapping — is free and always available, with no account or subscription required.
On devices with a TrueDepth camera, the app can optionally turn pages when you glance left or right, so you can keep reading with your hands full. This feature is called Eye Tracking, and it's available through the subscription described below.
The Eye Tracking Subscription
Eye Tracking is offered as an auto-renewing annual subscription through Apple's In-App Purchase system:
| Length | 1 year, renews automatically unless cancelled |
|---|---|
| Price | €0.99 (or the equivalent in your local currency and App Store pricing tier) per year |
| Free trial | 7 days — cancel before it ends and you won't be charged |
Unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, the subscription renews automatically and your Apple ID is charged for the next year. You can manage or cancel any time in Settings ▸ [your name] ▸ Subscriptions on your device. Cancelling stops future renewals but doesn't refund the current period.
Payment, Billing & Refunds
All payments are processed by Apple through your Apple ID, not by us — we never see or store your card details. If you'd like a refund, request it from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, or via Settings ▸ [your name] ▸ Subscriptions. We're not able to issue refunds directly.
Camera & Eye-Tracking Data
Eye Tracking uses your device's front TrueDepth camera to detect which direction you're looking. This happens entirely on your device — no image, video, or face data is ever recorded, stored, or sent anywhere. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Your Documents
The PDFs you open in the app stay on your device. You own your documents; we don't access, copy, or transmit them anywhere. Removing a document from your Recent list deletes the app's local copy of it.
Acceptable Use
Please use the app only for its intended purpose: reading your own PDF documents. Don't attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or circumvent the subscription mechanism, and don't use the app in any way that violates applicable law.
Ownership
The app, its design, and its code belong to us. Your documents belong to you. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of either to the other party.
Warranty Disclaimer
The app is provided "as is." Eye tracking accuracy depends on lighting, device positioning, and individual physiology, and we can't guarantee it will always turn pages exactly when you intend. We make no warranties, express or implied, beyond what applicable law requires.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing here limits any liability that can't be limited under the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms occasionally — for example, if the subscription's price or terms change. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in your country of residence, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you have under local law.
