Privacy Policy
PDF Eye Swiper · Last updated August 20, 2026
PDF Eye Swiper ("the app") is designed so that your data never leaves your device. This policy explains exactly what the app does and does not do with your information.
Camera and Face Data
The app uses your iPad's front TrueDepth camera to detect the direction you're looking, so you can turn PDF pages hands-free. This processing happens entirely on-device, using Apple's ARKit framework:
- No camera images, video, or face data are ever recorded, stored, or saved.
- No camera images, video, or face data are ever transmitted off your device, to us or to any third party.
- The camera feed is analyzed live, frame by frame, only to detect gaze direction, and is discarded immediately after.
Your Documents
PDFs you open in the app are stored only in the app's local storage on your device. They are never uploaded, synced to any server, or shared with us or any third party.
Data We Collect
We do not collect any personal data, usage analytics, or diagnostic information. The app does not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services of any kind.
Third Parties
The app does not share any data with third parties, because it does not collect or transmit any data in the first place.
Children's Privacy
The app does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children, since it does not collect information at all.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future version of the app adds a feature that involves data collection — this page will be updated and the "Last updated" date above will reflect the change.
